ARBOR DAY WITH COMED IN CHICAGO

Children get to see what it takes to be safe and smart while using machinery.

In April we have a special Arbor Day moment at a school with a class of fourth grade students. ComEd every year picks a local school and shows
them demonstrations on how we operate with proper trimming of trees and how we care of such beauty of Mother Nature. Basically what we do
is demonstrate with a lift truck, a chipper, and every tool we use on a daily basis and how to use them safely. They gather 3 classrooms at a time
and ComEd Forestry Division Manager, Merle Turner starts the demonstration with safety topics and presents the utility tree trimming (ABC
Professional Tree Services Inc) which was going to take care of the said presentation.

Also stated, was how we care for the trees, utility reliability of electricity for our towns and how we work together to make it more safe. To make   such a good presentation we hired a Transmission Supervisor named Brian Hartmann, who impressed every student with a great performance   regarding tool usage and what each particular tool was used for. A brief explanation and specification on chain saws, stick saws, pole runners,   chaps, safety line yards, hand saws, climbing rope usage, buck straps, snaps, hanger pullers, safety cones, safety signs, etc.

Here at ABC, we remember that before beginning any type of work they were suppose to identify any hazards at the location of the job site set
up, and explained on all paperwork which requires us to comply. It is also very important that we showed them that every tool and equipment
that we use is very dangerous and could result in serious injury if we do not work and use them with safe and proper care.

Kids were asking so many questions on the same subjects and we gladly answered them with the best interest and encouraging them in the
best possible way. Mr. McCullough also jumped in with theories about trees and how important they are to the environment, why we need to
take care of them to preserve them for many years, and to keep planting trees for our children’s future.

Students throughout the entire class were showed a set of two demonstrations and were amazed when Foreman, Juan E Banda’s crew started   their aerial lift presentation, which they displayed beautifully on how to perform a such job in a proper, safe way.

We are glad to be representing ABC Professional Tree Services Incorporated. With pride in these events that we will carry beautiful moments
and show everyone that we do care for our safety while performing in the tree trimming industry.
